The year 2015 is about to end in couple of months and we analyzed the viewpoint of iOS Apps. In this year, few factors have changed the viewpoints of analyst’s. Since last 10 months of 2015 iOS apps development has became most trending topic among most of IT organisations with over 1 million apps launched in 2015.
As per the statistics, we can say development of iOS apps area changed in last 10 months. Let’s take a look which are the top factors who changed the arena of iOS app development.
In current era, most of us depends on smart phone for storing vital information such as credit card details so in terms of security of data, significance is more on the device and apps used. But can your iOS app provide the security that personal and business users can expect? This is where the big gap between expectations and the fulfillment of the expectations fall in. However, iOS9 is an attempt to successfully manage the data with superior security with help of WWDC, 2015. Whether the data is related to personal or business this technology helps iOS users to prevent the data by making it difficult for other unauthorized personnel to do the same.
Here is how these security protocols have been made secure:
‘HSTS’ for Apps

Every iOS Apps Development Company should use HTTPS exclusively. Hence all the connections will go over HTTPS, ensuring secure communication.
HSTS is essentially a way to enforce HTTPS and entirely abandon HTTP, so that all data transferred is encrypted and authenticated. If you are developing a new iOS app then you need to add this feature and if you are an existing app developer you need to start supporting ATS feature in your App. The ATS feature will also be introduced to the newest version of OS X (OS X 10.11).
TOR on iOS
iOS9 has the new default password format that is 6-digit passcodes. Up from 4-digits from previous iOS version. The new iOS system will now automatically default to a six digit PIN to unlock your device, instead of just a four digit PIN. While this might seem like a small change, but it makes difficult to break into your iOS device
With a four digit PIN, there are a possible 10,000 combinations. But with a six digit code, there are 1 million possible combos, making it a lot tougher for someone to crack your security code.

New 6-Digit Passcode Requirements
Previously it wasn’t possible to proxy the traffic. iOS9 now introduced several new network extension points, that allows tunneling the device traffic into a VPN or TOR. It prevents apps from the trackers and filter all the traffic going from the device.
GoingIT's Insights:

But this year has been proved so dynamic in terms of the changes that has instigated a change in the way people look at iOS app development. This year, though, the world’s core is shifting to being something else. Already changes have been seen, but where will these changes will end at the EOY is a thing to see.
